How to Submit a Bookmark URL on Facebook

With social bookmarking, you can submit website URLs to social-networking sites for other users to see. When you submit a URL to Facebook, a link to the website appears on your Facebook wall and in your friends' news feeds. Some websites have buttons that you can use to submit the site to Facebook. For other websites, you will have to submit the site to Facebook manually.

Instructions

1. Go to the website that contains the page you want to submit to Facebook.

2. Look around the page for a Facebook "Like" or "Share" button. The button will have the Facebook logo. If you see the button, click it. If you do not have your Facebook account set to log in automatically, enter your email address and password.

   If you clicked a Facebook "Share" button, you can add a comment about the website. Click "Share" again to confirm that you want to post the URL.

   If you do not see a Facebook button on the page, copy the URL in your browser's address bar and continue on to the next step.

3. Go to Facebook and sign in to your account.

4. Click "Link" and paste the URL into the field that says "http://".

5. Click "Attach."

6. Enter a comment about the page you are bookmarking, if you want to. Click "Share" to submit the URL.
