How to Volunteer to Feed the Homeless in Chillicothe, Ohio
Chillicothe is a small town of about 22,000 residents in southern Ohio. Many of the people seeking help at the soup kitches include war veterans and people who have lost their jobs due to the economy. There is a relatively small number of homeless shelters and soup kitchens in the town that are always needing donations and volunteers. People wishing to volunteer should determine how their attributes could best be used and their availability. Volunteer work can be put on a resume and can be used for public service hours for teens.
