How to Disconnect Trickle Chargers
Most batteries, even if they aren't currently in use, will lose power over time. A trickle charger can help solve this problem. These devices attach to the terminals of a battery and provide a small, but steady, charge that keeps the battery operating efficiently. Unlike other chargers, trickle chargers will also cut off automatically when the battery reaches a full charge, preventing damage to the battery. When you're battery is fully charged and you're ready to use it, you'll want to disconnect it from the trickle charger so you can put it to use.
