Step-by-Step Balloon Decorating
Balloons have long been used to create a festive atmosphere for a party, a business opening and other events. When you want to use balloons to decorate your space, consider going beyond simply blowing them up and letting them float around or tying them to objects. Instead, decorate your balloons to get them a bit of flair. Does this Spark an idea?

Choose balloons that coordinate with the colors you are using to decorate your space. Go with one color, or select a variety of colors.

Pour glitter in a contrasting color onto a large paper plate.

Blow up a balloon and tie a knot in the end of it to keep it closed.

Tie a ribbon onto the balloon's knot to create a holder for it.

Spray the balloon with adhesive. You can find adhesive spray at most craft stores.

Roll the balloon in the glitter until you have covered it completely with glitter. Hold it for a couple minutes until the glue dries.

Hold the balloon over the paper plate and tap it gently, releasing any glitter that did not adhere to the adhesive spray.

Continue until you have decorated all of your balloons.
