How to Log Out of Facebook on an HTC

Logging out of Facebook on the HTC prevents you from seeing friends' updates.

Logging out of the Facebook application on your HTC smartphone prevents the app from sending you notifications. Facebook is preloaded on newer models of the HTC phones, including the HTC EVO. When a friend sends you a message or comment on a post, a notification does not appear if you are logged out. After logging out, you can log back in to the application at any time as long as your phone has an active cellular data or Wi-Fi connection.

Instructions

1. Touch "Home" on your phone and press "Menu."

2. Touch the "Facebook" icon and wait for the application to load.

3. Press "Menu," then touch "Log Out."

4. Touch "Yes" to confirm that you want to log out of Facebook on your HTC smartphone.
