How to Upload an Audio Recording to YouTube
YouTube is a website that allows you to upload and share videos with the online community. While you cannot upload plain audio to YouTube, you can use the Windows Movie Maker software to convert the audio recording into a video file. Once you have created a video file, you can upload the video to YouTube, which will play your audio recording to anyone who watches the video.

Launch "Windows Movie Maker" on your computer. You can find it by typing "Movie" in the search box on the Start menu.

Click the "Import Audio or Music" link from the left menu.

Browse your computer for your audio recording, then double-click to load it into Movie Maker.

Click the "Show Timeline" icon at the bottom of the screen. This will change the video into two tracks on the timeline, one for audio and one for video.

Click on your loaded audio track and drag it into the "Audio/Music" section of the timeline. You will see the audio track appear.

Click "Edit Movie" from the menu, then select "Make Titles or Credits."

Click the "title at the beginning" link. Two text boxes will appear.

Type information about your audio recording that you would like to display on your video, then click "Done, add title to movie." You will see your new title box appear in the video section in the timeline.

Hover your mouse over the right edge of the title box until you see the mouse turn into two red arrows.

Click and drag the right edge until the video section is as long as the audio recording. This will display your text all the way through your recording.

Click "File," then click "Save movie file."

Click "Computer," then click "Next."

Type a name for your video, then click the "Next" button twice. This will convert your audio recording into a video and save it on your computer.
Upload to YouTube

Log into your YouTube account.

Click the "Upload" link at the top of the YouTube website.

Click the "Upload video" button to browse your computer for your video.

Double-click the video to load it on the website. Uploading it may take time, depending on how long the video is.

Type in information about the video such as the title, description and category, then click "Save" to save the changes. Once the video has finished uploading and has been verified by YouTube, you can view the video to hear your audio recording.
