How to Sign out of Facebook on MyTouch 3G Slide

The MyTouch 3G Slide phone incorporates Facebook throughout various phone features using Facebook for HTC Sense. For example, once you add Facebook as one of the social media accounts on your MyTouch, your Facebook friends will appear in your phone's Address Book, you can upload photos to Facebook directly from your phone's photos and you will receive your Facebook friends' status updates straight to your MyTouch. If you would prefer to turn off this synced connection, you can effectively sign out of Facebook on your phone by removing Facebook from your synced social media accounts.

Instructions

1. Tap "Home" on your phone.

2. Tap "Menu."

3. Tap "Settings."

4. Tap "Accounts & Sync."

5. Tap your Facebook account.

6. Tap "Remove Account."

7. Confirm you want to remove your Facebook account from your phone. Your MyTouch is now signed out of Facebook.

Tips & Warnings

• If you want to turn off certain synced functionality but don't want to remove your Facebook integration entirely, tap your Facebook account under the "Accounts & Sync" menu and edit the account settings.
