Draw Nike Shoes

Drawing your own version of a popular shoe brand can be a great way to test out design ideas. You can use these drawings as part of an illustration or fashion portfolio. Using simple shapes to create a framework for the shoe can help you draw Nike shoes fairly simply. You can add your own personal touches to the shoes or strive to keep the shoes as close to the traditional look as possible. You can use the drawing as a template for other sneaker models. The principles in this article can be applied to almost any shoe drawing.

Step 7

Color the Nike shoe to complete the drawing.

Color the drawing with art markers. Use complimentary colors to create an interesting effect. For instance, warm colors like red, yellow and orange can be paired with cool colors like blue, purple and green.

Tip

You can make a photocopy of the shoe in step 6 to try out different color schemes.

Warning

Be sure to let the ink dry before erasing the pencil lines or the drawing will smudge.
