How to Browse Anonymously in Firefox
Web browsers such as Firefox are set up to automatically track which Web sites you visit. If you would like to browse without Firefox keeping track of the sites you visit or other information, then browsing anonymously in Firefox may be a good option for you. By enabling a feature called Private Browsing, you will be able to browse anonymously.

Click "Start" then "All Programs." Click "Firefox" to launch Firefox.

Click the "Firefox" menu button at the top left of the screen in Firefox 4 or click "File," then "Tools" in earlier editions of Firefox.

Click "Start Private Browsing." A dialog box for Private Browsing will appear.

Click "Start Private Browsing" to begin browsing anonymously.

Browse the internet as you normally would. Web sites that you visit during the private browsing session will not be tracked in history.

Click the "Firefox" menu button at the top left of the screen in Firefox 4 or click "File" in earlier editions of Firefox.

Click "Stop Private Browsing" to end your anonymous browsing session in Firefox.
