How to Put Themes on a YouTube Channel

Every YouTube account holder has a channel where videos are displayed. By default this channel page is fairly plain, but it can be customized by applying a theme to it. These themes allow you to customize the colors that are used and even to select a custom image as your background. YouTube has made this process user-friendly, allowing you to create a custom theme in minutes.

Instructions

1. Log into your YouTube account and go to your channel page.

2. Click "Themes and Colors" at the top of the screen.

3. Select one of the pre-designed themes if you see one that you like.

4. Click "Advanced Options" to create your own theme.

5. Select the colors that you want to use for various text, frames and backgrounds.

6. Click "Delete" next to Background Image to upload a picture for a background. Click "Browse" to select an image from your computer, then click OK. If desired, click the "Repeat Image" button to make YouTube repeat the image over and over, filling the background.

7. Click "Save Changes" when you are happy with your new theme.
