How to Send a Picture to a Website From Picnik
Picnik is a free, Web-based image editing service that permits you to upload image files from your computer and edit them to your liking. Picnik provides users with a wide assortment of photo editing tools, such as cropping, resizing, red-eye correction, text and many coloring options. Once you have finished editing your photo, you can save the new image to your hard drive, email it to yourself or someone else, or upload it to a photo gallery on another website.

Direct your Web browser to Picnik.com and click the "Get Started Now" button in the center of the page.

Click the "Upload a Photo" button on the left side of the page.

Browse your hard drive to locate the image file that you want to edit. When found, double-click the file to upload it to the Picnik server.

Edit the photo to your liking using the various image editing tools available on the Picnik website. Access these tools by clicking the "Edit" tab in the horizontal menu at the top, then clicking the tool you want to apply to your image in the "Edit" sub-menu.

Click the "Save & Share" tab on the menu at the top of the page when you finish editing your image.

Click the website to which you want to upload your image. At the time of publication, Picnik allows you to upload your image to Picasa, Flickr, MySpace, Twitter, Facebook and Photobucket.

Click the "Connect" button in the center of the page. A pop-up window opens and you will be prompted to grant Picnik permission to connect to the website you've chosen.

Follow the on-screen instructions to grant Picnik access to your account on the website of your choice. The wording of the buttons and instructions vary, but for all sites, you must click on a button labeled "Allow," "Grant Access" or "Authorize." When the authorization process has been completed, the pop-up window closes and you will be returned to the Picnik dashboard.

Add captions and tags to your photo. If you set up albums on the site to which you are uploading the picture, select the destination album from the drop-down menu below "Album."

Click the green "Save Photo" button. A pop-up dialog box opens, confirming that Picnik is uploading your photo to the website. When the upload is complete, the pop-up window closes and you will see a message that your photo has been uploaded.
