How to Change My Email Address & Password in Picasa

Use Google's account settings to change your email and password for Picasa.

When you want to look at your photo albums in Picasa, Google's free online photo gallery service, you log in to your account with your email address and password, which you can change whenever you want. For example, you might have a new email address that you want to start using, or you prefer to periodically change your password to help protect your online security. You can easily change your email address and password for accessing Picasa.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Google account at Google.com by clicking on the "Sign In" link at the top-right corner of the page.

2. Click the pull-down menu at the top right of the page, labeled with your name or your email address.

3. Click "Account Settings."

4. Click "Change Email" under "Personal Settings." Type your new email address in the "New Email Address" text box, then type your current password in the "Current Password" text box, and then click "Save Email Address."

5. Click "Change Password" under "Personal Settings." Type your current password in the "Current Password" text box, and then type your new password in the "New Password" text box. Type your new password once more in the "Confirm New Password" text box, and then click "Save."

Tips & Warnings

• You'll need to use the new email address and password for accessing other Google features in addition to Picasa, such as Google Docs.
