How Do I Get New Rivals on Sorority Life?
Sorority Life is a social game played on Facebook. In it, you assume the character of a sorority sister and try to accumulate cash, clothes and influence as you play the game. One aspect of the game is competing against other sororities and their sisters. You can attack other players and they can attack you unprovoked, trying to gain more cash, influence points and confidence points. You can also gain rivals within the game from other houses whom you can attack and who can retaliate.

Select another Sorority Life player to attack. The object here is to win the battle, so try to find someone who you have a good chance of beating. This means choosing someone who is not only a lower level than you, but has fewer sorority sisters in her house.

Attack the chosen player. The results will be displayed on the screen. If you have defeated the player, you now become her rival. You will be listed on her "Rivals" tab, and she has the option of attacking you.

Wait for the player you just defeated to attack you. If he defeats you, he will now be listed on your "Rivals" tab, along with anyone else who has previously attacked you and won. All people who have attacked you and won are your rival.

Tips & Warnings
All players who attack you and win are automatically your rivals, and you can attack them. Technically, this means you could just sit back and gain new rivals by simply waiting for someone to attack you. But the only way to proactively try and gain new rivals is to attack and defeat someone new, then wait for them to attack you.
Even if the player you attack is a lower level than you, a number of other factors could make you lose if you attack them. The number of sisters in their house, the amount of influence points and the amount of confidence points they have could all factor in. Keep this in mind and choose who you attack wisely, or you may end up with a costly defeat.
