How to Whip Cream With Strawberries & Ginger

Things You'll Need
- 1/2 cup strawberries, minced
- Sharp knife
- 1 tbsp. ginger, minced
- Paring knife or peeler
- Food processor
- Large mixing bowl
- Handheld electric beater
- 1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream

Rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Chop off any greenery still attached to the top of the berries. Slice the berries in half.

Clean the skin off the ginger using a paring knife or peeler. Mince the ginger into very small pieces.

Put the strawberries and ginger into the food processor. Process the berries and ginger until the consistency of the mixture is like a paste or pesto; this should only take 30 seconds to a minute to achieve even consistency.

Pour the whipping cream into the large bowl. Whip the cream with the hand beater for about five minutes or until the whipped cream begins to thicken. Fold in the strawberry ginger mixture. Continue beating the cream until it holds peaks. Refrigerate for one hour.
