Ruby is a web programming language.

Ruby is a web code that combines Perl, Smalltalk, Eiffel, Ada and Lisp. The code was created in 1995 to balance functional programming, and it uses "object-oriented programming," which assigns every bit of information and code with an action, much like the human brain works. Ruby is also very flexible, and a programmer can attach any closure method using the ruby "block."
