How to Disable Quickbooks Messenger

Intuit QuickBooks is a bookkeeping and accounting application for business users. The QuickBooks Messenger is a messaging application that allows users of the multiuser version of QuickBooks to communicate with one another through the program. In versions of Intuit QuickBooks prior to version 9, there was no way to disable the QuickBooks Messenger through the interface. However, as of version 9.0, Intuit has added the "Disable QuickBooks Messenger" feature to the Utilities in the QuickBooks interface.

Instructions

1. Open the Intuit QuickBooks program.

2. Click the "File" option on the top menu bar in QuickBooks.

3. Click the "Utilities" option.

4. Click the "Disable QuickBooks Messenger" option. The Messenger is now disabled in QuickBooks.
