How to Clean Up a Pigeon's Poop
Cleaning up pigeon droppings not only restores beauty to the fabric they are left on, but it also rids the fabric of germs and other contamination. - Laundry detergent (with enzymes)
- Eye dropper
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Ammonia
- Dish detergent
- Bucket
- White vinegar

Removing Droppings From Fabric

Fill your washing machine with warm water, then put the soiled fabric into it. Add the suggested amount of enzyme-containing laundry detergent and let the soiled fabric soak. Run the washing machine for a full cycle.

Remove the fabric from the washing machine, fill the eye dropper with a mixture of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, screw the cap on, then shake. Squeeze a few drops from the eye dropper on the stained areas of fabric. The ammonia and hydrogen peroxide will assist in breaking down the elements of the stain.

Placed the soiled fabric under running water to rinse it off. Place it back into your washing machine, then run for another full cycle to remove any remnants of the stain.
Removing Droppings From Upholstery and Carpet

Fill a bucket with 2 cups water from your sink, and add a tablespoon of dish washing detergent, then mix. Use cool water if cleaning upholstery, and warm for cleaning carpet. Add a tablespoon of white vinegar to the bucket if preparing to clean droppings from carpet.

Submerge a clean cloth into the bucket's mixture, then wet the soiled areas of the upholstery. Use a dry portion of the cloth to dry the areas once they have become completely saturated. Repeat until the stain is no longer evident in the fabric or the upholstery.

Fill an eye dropper with ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, then squeeze the contents onto the stained area. Use the cloth to sponge the areas with water from the bucket. Dry the upholstery with a dry section of the cloth after the dropping stains have been completely removed.
