How to Uninstall Verizon Servicepoint
Rather than let its customers brave the wilds of the Internet alone, Verizon offers its DSL and FiOS subscribers a complimentary Internet security suite. The Verizon Servicepoint software acts as the security suite's point man, checking for and facilitating upgrades to the main program as well as acting as a communication tool for the Verizon team to keep in touch with customers. If you do not want Verizon Servicepoint on your computer -- for example, you are no longer a Verizon subscriber or you already have another Internet security suite -- then you can uninstall the program in the Windows Control Panel.
