Instructions

    • 1

Plan the location of the crystal prisms on the leather piece. Do a test run by placing the objects on the leather without any adhesive and make any adjustments to the appearance until it meets your liking.

    • 2

Pick each crystal prism up and make a small dot with a permanent marker on the surface of the leather to mark the desired locations.

    • 3

Roughen up the area where you'll apply the crystal prisms by lightly sanding with fine sandpaper.

    • 4

Add a strong craft adhesive to the back of the crystal prism. Use a wooden craft stick to spread the adhesive so it covers the back of the prism.

    • 5

Pick up the crystal prism with tweezers to avoid touching the glue. Press the prism to the leather. Repeat the gluing process until all the crystal prisms are attached. Allow the glue to dry for at least 24 hours before handling the leather object.

Tips & Warnings

  • Line the crystal prisms up in a row or form shapes with a group of the prisms such as a star or heart.

  • Paint designs onto the surface of the crystal prisms to add color and visual interest.
