How to Confiqure the BIOS on a Playstation 2 Emulator

The BIOS file for a PlayStation 2 is what controls the boot-up process of the game system. Even when you run a PlayStation 2 emulator, you need a BIOS file to boot up the PlayStation 2 games properly on the computer. Setting the up the BIOS file for the Ps2 emulator is a quick process as you only need to direct the program to where the BIOS file is saved.

      Open PCSX2 if you have already installed, or download and install from the developer's website.

      Click the "Config" button on the top of the main PCSX2 window and the "Plugin/BIOS Selector" option from the context menu that comes up.

      Click the "BIOS' tab at the top of the configuration window. Click the "Browse" option near the middle of the BIOS selection window.

      Select the folder where your Ps2 BIOS is located and click "OK." PCSX2 will search the folder for the BIOS file. Click "OK" and the BIOS for the PCSX2 Ps2 emulator is configured.
