How to Make a Picture Transparent in Paint Shop Pro

Various graphics programs allow you to save a file as PNG (Portable Network Graphics) or GIF (Graphics Interchange Format). You can save the image with a transparent background. The most common way of creating a transparent image is through the use of the alpha channel. Alpha channels are masks through which you can display images. Jasc Paint Shop Pro supports the alpha channel transparency; PNG, BMP (Bitmap) and PSD (Photoshop) all support the use of alpha channel.
