How to Remove an Older Version of Apple Software
Remove older version of Apple software programs before you upgrade to a newer version or if you no longer use the program and want some extra space on your hard drive. The Mac OS X system conveniently stores the files for a software program in one location, making the removal as easy as deleting a file. You do not need to use a removal tool or uninstaller to completely remove the software from your hard drive.
