How to Draw a Sagittarius Symbol
Sagittarius is the sign of the zodiac that corresponds to birthdays falling between November 22 and December 21 in western astrology. Sagittarius is also known as "the Archer," as it represents the mythological centaur Chiron, who was an archer as well as a musician and physician. Those whose birthdays correspond to Sagittarius are said to be independent, adventurous and to make good friends. A Sagittarius is emotionally stable and optimistic. Notable individuals born under the sign of Sagittarius include Ludwig van Beethoven, Britney Spears, and Mark Twain.

Draw a 1-inch horizontal line.

Draw a 1-inch line perpendicular to and coming down from the right end of the horizontal line. You should now have a right angle that resembles the top right corner of a square.

Bisect the right angle with a line measuring 3 inches long. You should now have a drawing resembling an arrow.

Draw a 2-inch line, or slightly shorter, perpendicular to and intersecting the third line about 1 inch from the left end of the third line. The 3-inch line should bisect the 2-inch line. The final product is the symbol for Sagittarius.

Tips & Warnings
As long as you retain the proportions, the symbol can be of any size.
Be creative. You do not have to only use a black pen and a white piece of paper. Experiment with different mediums and different surfaces to find a combination that you find aesthetically pleasing.
