How to Put Notes on Facebook Profile Box

The Facebook Notes application allows you to post personal information, such as blogs, video and music. Posting a note on a Facebook profile box is simple and requires only that you allow the Notes application to access your profile and that you edit the Notes application settings to make the Notes appear in a profile box.

Instructions

      Log in to your Facebook (facebook.com) account.

      Type "Notes" into the search box in the center of the Facebook home screen to get a link to the "Notes" application page. Click the link to arrive at a page titled "Notes."

      Click the "Write a Note" button on the upper right side of the "Notes" page. A new "Write a Note" page loads.

      Type a title for the note into the "Title" field.

      Type the body of the note into the "Body" field.

      Click the "Publish" link at the bottom of the page when ready to publish the note.

      Click "Account" on the upper right side of the screen. A drop-down menu appears. Click "Privacy Settings" in this drop-down menu. A page titled "Choose Your Privacy Settings" appears.

      Click the "Edit Your Settings" link under the "Apps and Websites" heading at the bottom left of the screen. A new page titled "Choose Your Privacy Settings: Apps, Games and Websites" appears.

      Click the "Edit Settings" button directly across from "Apps You Use." A new page appears, with each app you have used in the past, or currently use, listed.

      Click the "Edit Settings" link, directly across from "Profile Box."

      Click the "Add" link directly across from "Box: Available." If you have already enabled this, the option won't appear.

      Click "Close Section" to save your changes.
