How to Tie a Flydanna

The Flydanna is a brand name for a type of head covering that is similar to a do-rag, but made from a bandanna. These head wraps are often worn under motorcycle helmets, or alone. The advantage of the Flydanna is that it has a sun protection tail that hangs down the back of the wearer's neck. It also comes with two ties that are tied on top of the tail, making it simple to keep the head wrap secure on your head. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Flydanna on your head with the ties in the back, at the nape of your neck. The front usually comes down over the forehead. It will probably fit over your ears, unless you have a larger head.

    • 2

Lay the sun protection tail down flat over the back of your neck to keep it covered.

    • 3

Hold onto the ties found on each side of the Flydanna and tie them in a knot. Then tie a second knot so the head covering won't come undone.

Tips & Warnings

  • When you want to take the Flydanna off, slip if off the top of your head, then untie the knots.
