How to Send Valentine's Cards From AOL Mail

Send a Valentine's Day eCard from your AOL e-mail account.

Share the love on Valentine's Day with your loved ones, friends and family by sending an electronic card from your AOL e-mail address. Send as many eCards as you want for free using 123 Greetings, eGreetings or Blue Mountain. Personalize every card with a special message written by you. You can send the same card and message to as many people as you like. Once your customized card is delivered, it will appear in the recipient's e-mail box as a message from you.

Instructions

123 Greetings

1. Browse the e-cards from 123 Greetings' "I Love You" section at 123greetings.com. Some cards feature animation like a beating heart or songs performed by artists including Shania Twain, Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.

2. Click on the red title of the card for a preview. Click the "Send This eCard" button to customize the card or hit the "Back" button on your browser to continue your search.

3. Type your name and AOL e-mail address in the boxes provided. Under the "Messages" box, type what you want your eCard to say. You can change the look of the text by adjusting the script and font size. You can also make all or part of your message appear in bold, italics or underlined by pressing the "B", "I" or "U" icons.

4. Enter the recipient's name and e-mail address under "Receiver Details." Select the day you want the card sent from your e-mail address using the calendar below "Receiver Details."

5. Click "Preview" to view the eCard and click "Send This eCard" to complete the process. It will appear in the receiver's e-mail box as a message from your e-mail address.

eGreetings

1. Search the different Valentine's Day e-cards at eGreetings.com. Some cards are more personal than others and are intended for a significant other while others are better suited for friends or family members.

2. Click on the title of each card for a preview. Click "Choose Another Card" to find another card.

3. Click "E-mail This Card" to begin the customization process. Enter your name and e-mail address. Under the "Messages" box, type what you want your eCard to say. Under "Send To," type the e-mail address of everyone you want to send the card to. Type your personal message in the "Message" box. If you don't know what to type, click on the "Suggested Messages" link for a pretyped message by eGreetings.

4. Change the text color, font and script size under the "Customize Your Message Look" tab. Don't forget to select a delivery date using the calendar provided.

5. Select "Preview Your eCard" to view the card before sending. Click "Send eCard" to complete the card making process.

Blue Mountain

1. View the different love ecards from Blue Mountain at bluemountain.com. Click on the card's title to preview the animation and message. Press "Back" to return to the main menu and view all the love cards.

2. Select "Send Through E-mail" to begin customizing your card. Blue Mountain allows you to send seven cards for free without paying the yearly membership fee. As of Spring 2011, a one-year membership costs $19.99 and allows you to send an unlimited number of cards.

3. Enter your name and e-mail address. In the "Message" box, type your special Valentine's Day message. Adjust your message's color, font and script size in the "Edit" box next to "Message."

4. Enter the recipient's e-mail address in the "Send To" box. Select a delivery date using the calendar provided.

5. Click "Send" to finish the card making process.
