Instructions

    • 1

Add the jelly to the pastry bag or syringe with a spoon. Scoop the jelly in and add more jelly as needed.

    • 2

Fill the doughnuts once they cool slightly. Poke a hole on the side of the doughnut with a toothpick if you have difficulty inserting the pastry tip.

    • 3

Push the tip of the syringe or pastry bag about one-quarter of the way into the doughnut. Avoid pushing it too far in because the tip can easily come out the other side or it can tear the doughnut.

    • 4

Squeeze the pastry bag gently or push on the syringe to pipe in 1 to 2 tsp. of jelly into the doughnuts. Avoid putting in too much because you can crack the doughnuts or cause them to split.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pour the jelly into a baster and cover the tip of it with aluminum foil until you are ready to pipe it into the doughnuts.

  • Coat the doughnuts with icing to cover the piping holes.
