How to Upload Facebook Pictures Without it Being So Slow

One of the most popular features of Facebook is the photo sharing option. If you are one of the many people who enjoy updating your photo albums on a regular basis, there are two things you can do to speed up the process. One is to use keyboard shortcuts to select multiple photos at once. The other is to upload your photos in standard quality and not high resolution which can take 10 times longer.

Step 1

Login to your Facebook account.

Click on "Profile" in the top right corner of the screen.

Click on "Photos" in the menu on the left side of the screen.

Click on the "Upload Photos" button in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 5

Click on the "Select Photos" button in the bottom right corner of the "Upload Photos" pop-up box.

Click on the photo you want to upload in the pop-up dialogue box. To select more than one photo, hold down the "Ctrl" key while you click on your photos. To select all the photos in a specific folder, click on the first photo in the folder then hold the "Shift" key while you click on the last photo in the folder. This will select the two photos you clicked on as well as all the photos in between them.

Step 7

Type a name for your new photo album in the "Name of Album" text box.

Step 8

Click on the circle beside "Standard" in the "Quality" section.

Step 9

Click on the "Create Album" button in the lower right corner of the "Upload Photos" pop-up box.
