1. Contact various companies that offer the types of jobs that you are looking for. Their recruitment personnel will be able to provide you with an understanding of the exact requirements for the job. Additionally, ask the personnel about turnover rates so that you have some kind of idea how often your ideal job becomes available. Also, don't be afraid to ask what kind of qualities that the company is looking for in an individual. With this knowledge, you will be able to decide what company may be the best fit for you.

2. Enroll in a college or vocational school. Many high paying jobs require some sort of degree or outside training. Obtain the certificates or degree necessary to meet the requirements. Though knowledge and determination are good qualities to have when it comes to applying for jobs, sometimes the paper work concerning degrees is necessary as well.

3. Apply for an internship. The easiest way to gain experience is to intern for a company that you wish to become employed with. Many internships pay little or no money, but you will gain experience and the company will value the integrity that you display by dedicating time to a job that offers you little monetary gain. Part of obtaining a high paying job is working from the bottom up and an internship is the perfect way to start this process.

4. Apply with several companies in hopes of obtaining a position.. Not all companies offer internships, though some offer training within the company. These types of companies sometimes save you from going through the hassle of enrolling in a college or vocational school for training. On-the-job training is also the best way to reach an understanding of company expectations as you are given hands-on experience.
