How to Get Steelix in "Pokemon Crystal"

Steelix is a Steel and Ground-type Pokemon that was first introduced in the second-generation of Pokemon games, "Pokemon Gold," "Pokemon Silver" and "Pokemon Crystal." Steelix evolves from Onix. Evolution is the only way to obtain a Steelix in "Pokemon Crystal." Unfortunately, Steelix has one of the more complicated evolution methods. To obtain Steelix, you will need to attach a "Metal Coat" to an Onix, trade it to someone else's game, and then trade it back to your game.
