      Locate the telephone number for your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and call the technical support number. You can find the number in the telephone directory or in support documentation from the ISP.

      Give the support technician your account information, including name, address and telephone number.

      Tell the support technician you lost your password. He will either verify the password with you or provide a new one.

      Make note if a new password is given. Write it down and keep in a safe place, or type the password into a word processing file on the computer and save it.

      Visit the web interface of the Internet service provider. Enter the new password into the space provided and reconnect to the Internet.
