If you have sagging skin under your chin, you may think that age has just caught up with you. In fact, you might be considering plastic surgery or other expensive cosmetic procedures. However, in reality, there are several natural exercise options that can tighten the sagging skin under your chin by refining and defining the muscles there, which in most people, suffer from lack of use. Just like any other muscle group, the muscles under your chin can be persuaded to hold the skin taut and firm with a little training and perseverance.

Look straight ahead with your chin level. Use a mirror to practice the position until you can keep your chin even every time.

Exercise the muscles on the right side underneath your chin. Turn your head to the right until your chin would touch your right shoulder if you bent your head. Pull your head backward toward your left shoulder. You will feel the muscles under your chin tense. Hold that position for a count of 10 before relaxing, and repeat this 10 times.

Now, do the same as step two, except for on the left side. Turn your head to the left side until your chin would touch your left shoulder if you bent your head. Pull your head backward, toward your right shoulder. Hold the position for a count of 10 before relaxing, and repeat the exercise 10 times. You will probably feel the muscles getting sore quickly since it is unlikely that they are exercised on a regular basis.

Pout 20 times. Push your lower lip as far out as you can. Tighten it as you do so. If you look in the mirror, your chin will look splotchy and dimpled. Hold the pout for 10 seconds before relaxing and repeating.

Massage your chin muscles, using a moisturizer. This will not only help tighten the chin by tightening the skin, but it will also help refine the muscles and make them respond more quickly. Apply the lotion to the underside of your chin using upward strokes. Place your chin in the palms of your hands so that your fingers are in front of your face. Move the backs of your hands in circular motions using firm pressure. They will slide over the lotion. Massage for five to 10 minutes.
