Jamendo is an online music portal that publishes music by independent musicians and makes it available to the public under a Creative Commons license. Because all of the music on Jamendo is released under a Creative Commons license, you are not restricted to streaming music from the website and can download anything that you like without spending money. Click the download link on any album page or individual song to save your favorite music from Jamendo to your computer.

Navigate in your Web browser to Jamendo.com, and click the "Music" tab at the top of the page to browse the music available on the website.

Click any icon in the Music section to proceed to the page for the associated album.

Click the "Download" button at the top of an album page to download the entire album.

Hover the mouse pointer over any song on the album's track list to download an individual song. A set of buttons appears on the right side of the track list. Click the down-facing arrow to download the song.

Click the "Download" button in the pop-up window that appears when you click a download link. The message "Please wait while we prepare your download" appears. After a moment, the Web browser displays a file download window. Save the file to the location of your choice.

Tips & Warnings
To download an album on Jamendo using a BitTorrent client, click the "BitTorrent MP3" or "BitTorrent OGG" link at the bottom of the pop-up window that appears after you click the "Download" button.
