How to Save Blogger Widgets
Blogger is a free blogging platform provided with your Google account. When you design a Blogger blog, you can place widgets in the blogger layout areas, such as the sidebar, to provide features to your viewers and enhance your blog. While some widgets are provided by Blogger and can be easily moved and replaced, this is not true for customized text widgets you have created. There is no automatic way to back up and save these widgets, but you can manually copy and paste the widget code into a text or document to prevent accidentally erasing the content in the widget.

Log into your Blogger account.

Click "Design" next to your blog's name.

Click the "Edit" link next to the widget. This will open the contents of the widget in a new window.

Highlight the widget text or code, then right-click and select "Copy" from the menu.

Open a text or word processing program on your computer.

Right-click in the blank document and select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste the widget text or code into the document.

Repeat this process with each widget you would like to save.

Save the document as a file on your computer. You can return to this document at any time to copy and paste the widget text and code back into your Blogger widgets when you need.
