How to Connect Blogger to My Domain
Hosting a Blogger blog on your own Internet domain can add to your credibility because the blog will no longer have the free "Blogspot" URL. This tells your visitors that you are serious about the blog and intend to maintain or develop it. To connect a Blogger blog to your own domain, you will need to adjust the DNS settings in your Web host's control panel or your domain registrar's DNS configuration page and then update your blog settings in Blogger.

1
Launch your Web browser and log in to your Web host or domain registrar account. Many Web hosts also act as domain registrars for customers so you may be able to change the settings through this account. If you are uncertain of how to proceed, check your Web host's support section.
-
2
Locate your control panel interface on the website. You will usually find this under "Settings" or "Tools."
-
-
3
Find your DNS (Domain Name System) settings in the control panel.
-
4
Click the "CNAME" button or link. Type "www" into the "Name" input field. Type "ghs.google.com" into the "Host Name" input field. Do not type the quote marks on any of the input discussed in this article.
-
5
Click the "A-Records" button or link and type your own domain name into the "Domain" input field. Enter only the top-level domain -- for example, enter "example.com" rather than "www.example.com". Carefully type the following four Internet Protocol addresses into the "IP" fields: "216.239.32.21", "216.239.34.21", "216.239.36.21" and "216.239.38.21". Click the "Save" link or button to save your settings.
-
6
Navigate to Blogger.com and log in to your account.
-
7
Click the "Settings" link under the title of the blog that you want to redirect to your own domain.
-
8
Click the "Publishing" tab and then click the "Custom Domain" link.
-
9
Type the Web address for your domain into the "URL" input field. Click the "Save Settings" button.

Tips & Warnings
It can take up to an hour for the redirect from Blogger to your own domain to take effect.
If you don't already have your own domain, you can buy one direct from Blogger on the "Custom Domain" page. Blogger will then set up the domain address and automatically redirect your blog to the new domain.
