1
Draw a large vertical oval and divide it into quarters with a horizontal and vertical line.
-
2
Draw a horizontal line halfway between the horizontal line and the base of the oval. Draw another horizontal line halfway between the bottom of the oval and the line you just drew.
-
-
3
Draw two diagonal lines. Start from the where the first horizontal line intersects the vertical center line, and extending to the edge of the oval where the second horizontal intersects it. Making and obtuse triangle. Draw a thin vertical rectangle from the top of the triangle to the horizontal center line.
-
4
Draw two more diagonal lines from just inside the ends of the obtuse triangle down to the center base of the oval.
-
5
Draw a half circle on either side of the rectangle starting and ending at its corners. Erase the horizontal line drawn in Step 2. Draw diagonal lines from the middle of the right and left sides of the obtuse triangle up to the edge of the oval.
-
6
Draw two vertical lines starting on the horizontal center line and ending on the diagonal lines. These lines should be halfway between the sides of the half circles and the edge of the oval.
-
7
Draw a downward curving line above the horizontal center line. Start and end the line halfway between the central vertical line and the outer edge of the half circle. Draw an upward curving line, the same length as the downward line, from either end of the downward curving line. These lines should extend outside of the oval.
-
8
Continue the ends of the now wavy line out and away from the head and down until they are level with the corners of the triangles. Connect the ends of the line to the oval with an upward curving line. Draw vertical lines from the corners of the triangle up until they reach the diagonal lines.
-
9
Connect the end of the wavy line to the top of the oval with a outward curving line. Erase the lines inside of the shape made. Erase any remaining lines of the vertical and horizontal center lines. Erase the bottom of the oval below the corners of the triangles.
-
10
Draw diagonal lines from the right and left side of the oval down and out away from the head. Connect the end of the two diagonal lines with one downward curving line that goes below the tip of the smaller triangle.
-
11
Outline the helmet with a black ink pen. Shade inside of the half circles, the large triangle and the shapes below on both sides of the head. Let all of the ink dry and erase any remaining pencil lines.
