How to Record on My Fios DVR From a Computer

Program your Verizon FiOS HD DVR from your office computer.

Watch your favorite TV shows or specials whenever you want with the help of a DVR. If you forgot to program your Verizon FiOS DVR to record something, there's no need to worry. You can now access your Verizon account and program your DVR from any computer through an Internet connection. This is the same account you use to view, print and pay your monthly FiOS bill. You can register for an account using your home phone number or account number.

Instructions

1. Log into your Verizon FiOS TV Central account. Enter your user ID and password in the "FiOS TV Sign In" box and then press "Sign In."

2. Click the gray "DVR" tab at the top of the page.

3. Select "TV Listings" on the side menu bar. A guide will appear showing you what's scheduled to appear on TV for that day.

4. Search for the show you want to record by using the up and down arrow keys on your computer's keypad.

5. Click on the program you want to record then select "Record."

6. Press "OK" to confirm the recording.
