How to Make Boo-Boo Bunnies Out of Towels
A boo boo bunny made of a small towel is filled with ice cubes and placed on scrapes and bruises of children. The soft, cold cloth comforts an injured child and reduces swelling, while the adorable bunny toy distracts her attention from the pain of her boo boo. Arrange the boo boo bunnies as decorations in your nursery or child's bedroom until the time comes for the bunnies to go to work. You can also give boo bunnies as baby shower gifts to new parents.

Things You'll Need
- Small towel or guest towel, soft and thick
- Sharp scissors
- Rubber band
- Thin ribbon
- 2 pink or blue cotton balls
- Hot-glue gun with hot-glue sticks
- Black puff paint

Lay a soft, thick guest towel or other small towel out on a flat surface with the shorter sides along the top and bottom. Fold the top right corner down across the towel until you meet the left side of the towel, giving you a right triangle. Cut away the towel that is below the folded over section to create a square shape.

Roll the triangle-shaped towel completely starting with the shorter corner, so that it is on the inside of the roll, in a tight roll.

Grasp the roll without allowing the tube to come unrolled and fold the towel cloth in half. Fold the towel in half a second time. Turn the towel so the two ends of the roll, which will be the bunny's ears, are facing up while still holding the towel tightly so the roll does come undone.

Wrap a rubber band around the folded roll within one-third of the end of the roll on the opposite side of the two bunny ears.

Cut a 12-inch length of thin ribbon and tie it around the rubber band wrapped around the boo boo bunny.

Hot-glue a pink or blue cotton ball on the nose of one bunny, which is located along the front of the guest towel sectioned off by the rubber band. Attach a second pink or blue cotton ball on the opposite end of the boo boo bunny using hot glue to form a bunny tail.

Dot two eyes above the cotton ball noses with black puff paint.

Tips & Warnings
Insert a box of band aids and small tube of antiseptic ointment in the place where the ice cubes will go in the boo boo bunny, if desired, if you are making it for a gift.
