How to Downgrade a PSP to the 1.50 Softmod

You can downgrade a PSP to firmware 1.50 with a service tool. Using the service tool, the PSP can be soft-modded to run PSP firmware 1.50. On firmware 1.50, the PSP is free to have other firmware installed on it and have games installed on the PSP's internal storage chip. Service tools go by many different names, including Datel, Pandora and Jigkick batteries.
