How to Access 2Wire
2Wire refers to a line of routers, modems and router/modem combinations that are often given to users by their ISPs to use with DSL Internet service. As long as your computer is connected to the 2Wire device's network and has a Web browser, you can edit the router settings. This is because 2Wire devices are Web-based --- all settings are on a website hosted within the router itself.

Open a Web browser on your computer.

Navigate to your 2Wire router's login screen and press "Enter." (See References.)

Log in with your 2Wire user name and password at the prompt. If you haven't created a user name and password, you will be immediately taken to the main menu.

Click the "System" tab in the main menu to see the router system preferences.
