How to Find Minor Glyphs
The massively multiplayer online game (MMORPG) "World of Warcraft" allows players many options for character customization. Specialized talents, enchanted items and skill-based glyphs all contribute to character specialization. Glyphs change the basic function of many skills in the game by providing extra damage or additional effects to a common spell or ability. Minor glyphs typically change a cosmetic or lesser element, while major or prime glyphs drastically change its power. Inscription trainers may teach players many glyphs, but minor glyphs require discovery.

- Virtuoso inking set
- Moonglow ink
- Two light parchments
- Character with inscription level 75 or above

Visit an inscription trainer once you obtain level 75 in that skill to learn Minor Inscription Research. This recipe provides the ability to learn one minor glyph per day.

Click on the inscription icon in your spellbook or hotkey bar to open your inscription crafting menu. This menu lists all known glyphs and research abilities.

Select Minor Inscription Research from the list of abilities. Minor Inscription Research allows you to craft random scrolls with a high chance of discovering new minor glyph recipes.

Choose Create from the menu options to research the skill. Your character will craft between one and three random scrolls and a new glyph will likely be added to your spell book. Each use consumes one Moonglow ink and two light parchment items.

Repeat this process daily after midnight local server time. As with all daily spells, the ability cooldown resets at midnight on the server.

Tips & Warnings
Not every use of the Minor Inscription Research ability will succeed in producing new glyphs. To ensure you learn every minor glyph, you must repeat this process over the course of two or more months and attain a level of 355 in the inscription ability.
