How to Create an ID in Chikka
Chikka is an SMS service based in the Philippines. It allows you to send free text messages to mobile subscribers in the Philippines while you are connected to your online account. In order to create a Chikka ID you will need to sign up with a valid email address. Once you register, Chikka will send you a permanent system generated Chikka ID that serves as your "mobile number." This number will be displayed in the "From" box when your recipients receive your text messages.

Navigate to the Chikka website to sign up (see Resources).

Click the "Country" drop-down menu and choose your country. Check "No Mobile Phone" if you do not have a mobile phone registered in the Philippines.

Type your full name and email address.

Type the code as shown the box above it. Click "Sign Up."

Log in to the email account that you provided while signing up for Chikka.

Find the email sent by Chikka. Double click to open the message. Find the "Chikka ID" provided in the message.
