From your growth spurts to your hormones adjusting, it's no wonder you don't know if you're coming or going. 1
See how much time he spends around you. From volunteering to be your science lab partner to giving you an extra hand with your books, he's okay being in your space and wants to let you know. Pay attention to the subtle ways he seems to infuse himself in your life and being around you and your friends.

Offer some one-on-one time together no matter if it's working on a project or just hanging out. If he's interested in getting to know you privately, it's a surefire sign he's sweet on you. Create a host of energetic activities, like playing an interactive video game, going for a bike ride or going swimming.

Pay attention to his body language. Give him plenty of eye contact when you're speaking with him so he knows you are interested and listening to him. Notice if he holds his gaze and touches you, even playfully. If he's comfortable getting close to you, or even if he's so shy around you that you notice he's a little flustered, he's digging you.

4
Flirt with him and see if he reciprocates your actions by flirting back. Allow him to banter with you playfully and see how far he'll go to mention his feelings for you. The time you spend together and the more comfortable he feels around you, the more likely he is to fess up whether or not he thinks you're a good friend or perhaps advance to something more.

See if he seems to be spending time with other girls. Ask his friends, or get your friends to find out, if there's anyone else that may be in the running. If you feel bold enough, ask him yourself especially if the two of you have been slowly getting closer.
