How to Troubleshoot AT&T Communication Manager
AT&T Communication Manager is an application that you can download on your computer to manage your activity on AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots and data networks. It comes with your AT&T LaptopConnect device. Occasionally you may encounter issues with the Communication Manager. These issues include installation errors, problems with browser compatibility and connections failures. Follow the installation steps for AT&T Communication Manager in the correct order. Insert the installation CD into your computer CD/DVD-ROM drive and follow the on-screen instructions as prompted. Install the Communication Manager software from the installation disc before attempting to use the modem. Connecting the modem to your computer before the installation will cause connection errors.

Troubleshoot browser issues. Close your Web browser, wait for a few seconds and then relaunch the browser from the Start menu or desktop shortcut. A simple restart can help troubleshoot browser errors.

Contact AT&T Customer Care if none of the above steps resolve the problem. Call 1-800-331-0500. Note that you must know your 10-digit PC card modem phone number before calling. You can find this number in your online account or billing statement.
