How to Get the Cartoonize Button Off Your Facebook

Removing an app in Facebook settings will delete all traces of the app from your profile.

Cartoonize is a now-defunct Facebook application that allows you to upload a cartoon picture of yourself to your Facebook profile at the click of a button. If you have the Cartoonize button on your profile then you'll likely want to remove it, since the application's link is now inoperable. You can remove the Cartoonize application and the associated button by editing your Facebook application settings.

Instructions

1. Navigate your browser to Facebook.com and log in with your username and password.

2. Click the "Account" button in the upper-left corner of the browser window.

3. Click "Privacy Settings" in the drop down menu.

4. Click the "Edit Your Settings" link that is located under the "Apps" heading.

5. Click the "Edit Settings" button that is next to "Apps you use."

6. Click the "Edit Settings" link next to the Cartoonize application.

7. Click the "Remove app" link and click the "Remove" button. The Cartoonize app can no longer access your Facebook information and the Cartoonize button disappears from your profile screen.
