Dish Network Satellite Receiver Installation
There's no reason to set up an appoint with a technician to install a Dish Network satellite receiver. The receiver uses standard connection cables to transform the feed from your satellite dish so it can be displayed on your TV's screen. Use an HDMI cable to connect the receiver to the inputs on your TV if available. The HDMI interface is the best method as it carries high-definition audio and video signals over a single cable making the setup a straightforward process.

Fasten one side of the coaxial cable into the RF jack associated with your home's cable wiring or onto an open port on your satellite's multi-switch.

Attach the other side of the cable into the "Sat IN" port on the rear of the Dish Network receiver.

Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the rear panel of the receiver.

Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on your TV.

Tips & Warnings
If your TV does not feature an HDMI port, you can use a set of Composite or Component cables to make the connection. After making the connection with the coaxial cable. Plug one end of the composite or component cables into the "Component Out" ports on the receiver and insert the opposite end into the "Component IN" ports on the TV.
