How to Make a Band Page on Facebook
Facebook Pages are a way for brands, companies, businesses, organizations, causes, communities and bands to communicate with their fans on Facebook. Pages are like regular profiles, but instead of friends, Pages have fans. Page administrators do not have access to their fans' private information, but fans can learn all about the band. Band Pages let you publish relevant static information about your band, as well as status updates, gig dates, links and media on an ongoing basis.

Open a Web browser and navigate to the Facebook homepage at facebook.com. Type your user email address and password into their respective boxes in the upper-right corner of the screen and click the "Login" button. This takes you to the News Feed page of your Facebook account.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Create a Page." You may have to scroll to the bottom twice, as Facebook automatically loads more News Feed items while you scroll, doubling the height of the page.

Click the "Artist, Band or Public Figure" graphic. Click the drop-down box and select "Musician/Band."

Type your band name in the "Name" box, click the "I Agree to Facebook Pages Terms" box and click "Get Started."

Click "Upload Image" near the top of the page, then click "Browse." Select a photo from your hard drive to represent your band, then click "Open" to upload it.

Click the "Edit Page" button near the upper-right corner of the page, then click "Basic Information" in the left navigation menu.

Type your band information in the empty boxes labeled "Release Date," "Genre," "Members," "Hometown," "Record Label," "About," "Description" and "Website." You can fill out as much or as little as you want. Click the "Save Changes" button when you are finished.
