VFS currently manages visa application processing on five different continents.

VFS Global, a subsidiary of the Kuoni Group, specializes in outsourcing visa application processing for diplomatic missions and governments around the world. A visa is also called an entry clearance. This document is attached to your passport, and gives you permission to enter a specific country. VFS serves the diplomatic missions of 35 countries in more than 425 offices. They operate in 52 different countries around the globe. Each VFS office will have slightly different procedures but there is a basic process that can be followed to make an appointment with VFS.

Instructions

    • 1

Log onto the main VFS website. Use the menus at the bottom left hand corner of the screen to choose which country you wish to obtain a visa for and which country you are a resident of. Press the "Go" button. You will be redirected to the particular VFS office best suited to serve your needs.

    • 2

Locate the "Schedule an Appointment" link on the menu bar of your chosen VFS office and click on it. You will be shown the email addresses of various offices in your country, or a single address if your country only has one.

    • 3

Prepare an email containing the full name of the applicant, applicant's passport number, visa category you wish to apply for, visa application center you wish to make an appointment at if your country has more than one, your top three preferred dates and times for the appointment and your place of residence. Send this email to the address provided.

Wait for a few hours. VFS will send you an email on that same day.

    • 5

Print out the email once you have received it.

    • 6

Bring the printed email response with you to the visa application center on the day of your appointment.

Tips & Warnings

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

  • You cannot make an appointment by visiting or calling the visa application centers; use the email process instead.
