Facebook is a popular social-media site in which you can share different types of content, including photos and external links, with your network of friends. You have two ways to share a hyperlink on Facebook: In the standard method, you click the "Link" icon on your homepage and then paste the external hyperlink into the "http://" field. The second option involves manually inserting the link within a "Status" post.

Go to the Facebook website and sign in to your profile. Type the "Email" and Password" and then click the "Login" button to enter your account.
