How to Recycle Staples Cartridges
Staples is a popular office supply store that allows its customers to participate in a rewards program for recycling old printer ink cartridges. The "Ink Recycling Reward" program offers a credit to all customers who bring in old ink cartridges. Staples claims that recycling used cartridges cuts down on the amount of waste going to landfills and saves valuable materials and resources. Staples accepts old ink cartridges at their stores.

Access the Staples "Store Locator" website. Input your zip code and click "Search" to locate the Staples nearest to you.

Deliver your used ink or toner cartridges to any register in the store.

Present the employee with your Staples Rewards card. Your card is credited the appropriate amount.

Use your Staples Rewards card to purchase a new ink cartridge or any other item in the store.

Tips & Warnings
Staples will credit your "Rewards" card with $2 for each ink cartridge or used toner cartridge that you recycle.
Recycle up to 10 ink cartridges per month for a total of $20 in rewards.
If you do not currently have a "Rewards" card, sign up for one at the register or online.
